GOLDEN SALAMANDER VOTED SILVER MEDAL WINNER
The Great British Beer Festival at Earls Court, Britain's biggest beer festival. After a year of local tasting panels and regional heats leading up to the finals, CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale has voted `Golden Salamander` 4.5% ABV Silver medal winner in the Golden Ale category.
Salamander Brewing Company was founded in 1999 by Christopher Bee and Daniel Gent. Both had studied brewing & distilling at Heriot-Watt university before going on to work as brewers in successful micro-breweries.
The soft waters of Bradford offered a good starting point for brewing quality ales".
